numeracy reflection 2016 W6 T4

This week for  numeracy I have been doing problem solving this is fun because  it is hard to do.  It is hard to get the answers.I like it because it is fun to do and it get's harder as you go.

 This week I have been doing why are there seven days in a week. I found this a tiny bit hard to do as it was hard to find the information.  

This week I have been doing writing about  books and movies.  I wrote about the BFG. This was hard to do as I haven't seen it for awhile. 

This week for word work I have been putting my words in a sentence. It is really fun to do although certain words are hard.   

This week for witting I had to do a recount on the earthquake it was  we had to use pusher washing and  spekhmarks.

This week for literacy we have been doing myths and legends I started a story about a mythical creature I did big foot it is really fun to do.

 This week for word work been doing write a 10 sentences about the words It is really fun.

This week for my reading follow up  it is Peter Rabbit it was fun to do but I thought  it was hard to do. My literacy group is literacy element group I have to find the key points from the story.

This week my buddy and I have been doing water safety. It was really fun to do. I like doing this because I got to learn new things about keeping safe in the river.

This week we have been doing coordinates and position. We had to make a compass so we know how to use a compass  this was  really fun because you get to learn new things you dont know.

This week we have been learning about how to use clues and past experiences to find meaning. We read cats whisker's because cats whisker's are thing you wont to know. I really like it because was really fun and hard.

This week in numeracy we were learning to do multiplication we were watched  Khan Academy  to help us make a screencastify.

In writing this week I was learning to write different Sentence Starters.  I thought it was hard and the alliteration one was really hard.

We were  looking at the picture and write a paragraph about it. I really liked it,it is  fun and awesome I would like to do it again.

I was supposed to record my self reading it but I  was out  of time so i couldn't  nets week i will record my self.

In writing I have been learning how to write newspaper articles about Charlotte's web. I found this hard because I didn't know much about Charlotte's web.

Numeracy   

I am  learning to change unknown problems  like 49+??=80. I jumped in tens and ones using a number line to help me.  It is hard but fun too. I need to practice doing more maths questions to improve.
