Reflections W2 T2

This week in literacy we have been reading Charlotte's web and learning about spiders. We used bubbl.us to help us to write a report on spiders. Here is the link  bubbl.us - Brainstorm and Mind Map Online have a go at making a mind map yourself.

In topic we are finding out about WW2 and the Anzacs. I made a slideshow about the Grey Angels who were the nurses from New Zealand.

  

In maths I have been learning about time. I have been learning about half past, o'clock, quarter to and quarter past. I found this a little tricky.

Dear family,

Its really  bad here in the trenches and really loud my friends are dead and ingish. The food is horrible and it's all gone we need food and 1 and while they will be a drop off food  to the enemies and then  we will get a food drop. The jobs are guarding the men sleeping and shoot  the rodins and kill the enemies.

Swimming

Last week M3 went on camp to Fox Glacier we went to Lake Mapourika and I saw an eel.

Lake Matheson

It was really big and it was fat in Lake Matheson it was like a mirror.

Glow Worm walk

There were so many glow worms on the glow worm track. Nikalai had one on his shoe because Riley flicked it on his shoe.

Glacier Walk

M3 had to walk 5 hours it was worth it because it was beautiful and peaceful.

Camp food

The food was really good. The nachos were the best because I like nachos.

Favorite Part

My favorite part of camp was the walk to the glacier because I saw a Robin.

To the parents who came to camp- I would be so happy to go on camp with you again, and you  Miss Leigh.

And we got sweats!
